LinkedIn Click by Click

General Edition

This is the general toolkit. Choose a service and you'll get this same toolkit generated with your own information.

Your resume contact line

Contact line: phone | email | LinkedIn (always hyperlinked to the profile). Include City, State at the front only when I'm looking for on-site or hybrid work. For remote-only searches, leave location off.

Your work-style answer decides this automatically. If you selected Remote plus Hybrid or In-person, include City, State. If your city and state are not in your documents, use [City, State] instead of guessing. A missing phone uses [phone]. A missing LinkedIn link uses [LinkedIn].

Ask for a recommendation

Hi [name], I hope you're doing well. I'm updating my LinkedIn and would be grateful for a short recommendation about our work together on [project or team]. A few sentences about [skill or result] would mean a lot. Thank you either way!
